SHORT DESCRIPTION.

Babilla Lake is located in Ciudad Jardin in the south of Cali. The neighborhood, in the most part, is formed by countryside with a lot of parks and ecological preserves. It is a very natural experience!!
This lake is called Babilla Lake because a couple of years ago there was an urban legend; these legend says that there was an animal living in the lake and looked like a small crocodile (Babilla). Some people claim to have seen it, but others think that is just a false story to keep people away in order to protect the lake.
This lake used to be very unsafe, so people never went there, because they were afraid to be mugged and hurt. However, a few months ago, at Babilla Lake, you can breathe a more fresh air, because now it is safer and quieter. This was made by the people who live there supported by the police.
Babilla Lake has several animals so people who go there can feed them and play with them. Also visitors can take short hikes to know the place and enjoy its natural sceneries.
